1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy applies to nourifyme.co.uk and explains how Nourify Ltd, trading as NourifyMe, uses cookies and similar technologies.
It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on, or read from, your device. They can help a website function securely, remember information during a visit or recognise a browser.
Some cookies last only for a browsing session. Others remain for a set period or until they are deleted.
3. Technologies covered by this policy
The rules applying to cookies can also cover other methods that store information on, or access information from, your device. These may include:
- browser local storage and session storage;
- scripts and tags;
- security tokens;
- device or browser identifiers;
- tracking pixels; and
- similar storage and access technologies.
We use the term cookies in this policy as a convenient description of these technologies unless the context requires otherwise.
4. What we currently use
The current website uses Cloudflare services for hosting, security, traffic delivery and protection against automated or abusive form submissions.
The Founding Member form includes Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile performs security checks and provides a short-lived verification token that our server validates before accepting a submission.
Depending on Cloudflare's security configuration and whether a visitor is presented with an additional challenge, Cloudflare may also set security cookies. These are used to confirm that a security check has been passed, manage traffic or protect the website from abuse.
5. Cookie and technology list
The precise cookies visible to a visitor can vary according to Cloudflare's security response, browser settings and whether the Founding Member form is used.
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Turnstile verification token | Cloudflare | Confirms that a form submission has passed an automated abuse and bot-detection check. The token is validated by our server and is not used for advertising. | Short-lived and single-use; normally expires within minutes. | Strictly necessary security |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | May store proof that a Cloudflare security challenge was passed, helping prevent repeated challenges and protect access to the website. | Determined by Cloudflare's challenge and website security settings. | Strictly necessary security |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | May be used by Cloudflare bot-management services to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated or abusive activity. | Usually short-lived. | Strictly necessary security |
| Cloudflare challenge support cookies | Cloudflare | May be used temporarily where Cloudflare presents or diagnoses a security challenge. | Temporary or short-lived. | Strictly necessary security |
6. Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary technologies are essential to provide a service you request, transmit communications, maintain security or prevent misuse.
We use the Cloudflare technologies described above because they help:
- deliver the website securely;
- protect forms from spam, bots and automated abuse;
- maintain website availability and integrity;
- identify suspicious traffic; and
- support secure communication between your browser and our systems.
These technologies are not used by NourifyMe to build advertising profiles or track your browsing across unrelated websites.
7. Analytics, personalisation and advertising
Analytics
NourifyMe does not currently place optional analytics cookies on this website. We may receive limited aggregated operational or security information from Cloudflare as part of running and protecting the website.
Advertising and behavioural tracking
We do not currently use:
- advertising cookies;
- retargeting pixels;
- cross-site behavioural tracking;
- social-media advertising pixels; or
- cookie-based profiling for personalised adverts.
Future additions
If we introduce optional analytics, personalisation or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent mechanism before those technologies are activated, unless a legal exception applies.
8. Consent and your choices
Under UK law, consent is generally required before a website uses cookies or similar technologies unless a specific exception applies.
The current NourifyMe website only uses technologies that we consider necessary to operate, deliver and protect the website and its submission form. For that reason, the website does not currently display a consent banner for optional cookies.
A consent banner will be introduced before any optional technology requiring consent is used. Rejecting optional cookies would not prevent access to the core public website.
9. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their privacy or security settings. You may also be able to:
- block all cookies;
- block third-party cookies;
- clear cookies when the browser closes;
- delete cookies for a specific website; or
- use a private or incognito browsing mode.
Blocking strictly necessary security cookies or scripts may stop parts of the website from working correctly. In particular, the Founding Member form may not submit if Cloudflare Turnstile cannot run or its verification token cannot be validated.
Browser controls differ between providers and versions. Consult the help or privacy section of your browser for current instructions.
10. Third-party services
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides website delivery, security, bot protection, Turnstile verification and related infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, security signals, timestamps and challenge results in order to provide those services.
Cloudflare operates under its own privacy and cookie information as well as its contractual obligations to NourifyMe.
External websites
Links from NourifyMe to external websites may lead to services that use their own cookies. We do not control cookies placed by a third party after you leave our website. You should review the relevant site's own cookie and privacy information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when technologies, suppliers, legal requirements or website features change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.
We will review the cookie list whenever a new service, embedded feature, analytics tool, advertising technology or consent platform is introduced.
